News: Mintos rating updates and Envestio partnership!
Firstly Mintos, today Mintos announced updated ratings for 8 loan originators and all have improved scores. For the exact details I suggest you have a look at Mintos’ blog post.
However, in summary:
- Agrocredit from B+ to A-
- Cashwagon from C+ to B-
- Credilikeme from C to C+
- Credius from B to B+
- Dinero from C+ to B-
- ID Finance from B- to B
- Metrokredit from C+ to B-
- Varks from B to B+
In particular I’m excited to see updated ratings for Varks and Cashwagon! Both offer short term loans with very attractive returns. Varks up to 14,5% and Cashwagon up to 15,5%. In fact, just before this announcement I had deposited € 1,000 with Mintos. The funds had been invested with these two originators for the most part. It’s great to see improved ratings for two of my favourite loan originators on Mintos lately.
On top of that, Mintos also announced several loan originators have left the platform for various reasons. It appears they are really keeping a good eye on their partners in order to avoid another Eurocent situation.
Then Envestio – perhaps you also noticed no projects were launched in June? I really like Envestio and asked their support what is the reason for the delayed.
The answer came quickly and positively surprised me! The delay in project launches is due to a partnership that is in the works and the exact details will be announched shortly!
Additionaly, the loan availability is expected to increase and projects worth over € 10 million have already been pre-approved. Needless to say I have some cash tucked away which I will invest with Envestio once projects are launched again.
I’m excited!! How do you feel about the Mintos and Envestio news? Feel free to leave a reply!
